About Us

The Treecreepers team are first aid trained, CRB checked, comprehensively insured and bring together a range of relevant skills, experience and qualifications. Paperwork is, of course, available on request.

Simon Turk

Simon has worked in the field of outdoor education for several years and has taught water-sports, archery and Forest School programs. He is an OCN Level 3 Forest School Leader and holds the Advanced Bushcraft Award NCFE IIQ Level 3 giving him the skills to take full responsibility for setting up, running and evaluating woodland programmes.

As an outdoor instructor he has worked with a diverse range of groups from varied backgrounds, including mainstream education and excluded children.

Each group brings its own challenges and rewards and Simon believes everyone can benefit from the positive experiences to be had at Forest School.

Simon is never happier when out in the woods but does enjoy his creature comforts when at home!

Harry Nutt

Harry has worked with young people in various settings for almost 15 years. From community outreach to youth work, watersports coaching and into the woods Harry is passionate about creating space for individuals to feel safe to grow.

Harry is an OCN Level 3 Forest School Leader and a multi qualified water-sports coach with many years experience of teaching groups with varying educational and emotional needs.

The more he works with long term groups the more Harry sees the far reaching holistic benefits of ongoing access to challenging natural environments. His particular interest lies in enabling young people to develop emotionally, gain confidence, find their voices and explore their talents.

Being outside keeps Harry safe and sane. If the snow is falling or the sun is shining there is no place he would rather be than under the canopy with a fire or out on the water playing.

Morgan Woodland

A new and very popular addition to the Treecreepers team. Morgan has worked with children in a residential therapeutic community, as a teacher in mainstream schools, and as a play therapist.

She enjoys the company of trees and children!
